Władysław Hibner (1893-1925), Władysław Kniewski (1902-1925) and Henryk Rutkowski (1903-1925) tried to assasin a Police agent. During an arresting attempt they killed several policemen and people in the crowd. They were sentenced to death.

Polish-Hungarian freedom fighter. He was born in Tarnów in 1794, took part in the November uprising in 1830/1831 and in the Spring of Nations in Austria and Hungary in 1848. He died of malaria in Aleppo (Syria) in 1850
